Another blast of winter reaching the RGV

At 2pm Harlingen called in with 82 while just to the north, near Corpus Christi, the temperature dropped to 52 behind the next major cold front slipping south through Texas.

The valley can expect a dramatic wind shift this afternoon with temperatures dropping through the 50's into the evening.

The chance for rain will start to ramp up behind the front with the best opportunity starting overnight and lasting through Tuesday.

Tuesday will be a cold, cloudy, drippy day like so many others caused by cold front this season. The overnight low will dip to near 40 while daytime highs will struggle to reach 45 with northerly winds from 15 to 20mph making it feel more like 34.
