Awesome risk of rain settling in across the RGV
Tue, 23 Apr 2013 23:37:07 GMT —
A substantial cold front will pass through the Rio Grande Valley in the early morning hours bringing a, much needed, chance for showers and possibly a few morning thunderstorms. No severe weather is expected only scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder.
There will be a lull behind the front Wednesday afternoon as the atmosphere recharges with moisture. An off shore trough of low pressure will settle in behind this cold front triggering a second round of showers Wednesday night into Thursday.
