The weather event everyone in the valley is talking about is about to pounce on deep south Texas.
The first major cold front of the season is slicing south across Texas, should be through Hebbronville by breakfast and Brownsville around lunchtime.
There is a chance for showers and a few thunderstorms as the front slides through, since it will pass before the sun can crank up the oven the opportunity for strong storms will be diminished. The best chance for heavy duty thunderstorms will be closer to the coast where the air will have longer to heat up before the big switcheroo drops temperatures into the low 70's.
Overnight lows will settle into the upper 50's for Saturday and Sunday mornings despite all the clouds which should linger well into the weekend.
Enjoy a real taste of Fall!
