The Halloween forecast is in jeopardy. A major storm system is forecast to move east across the US dropping a cold front through the RGV Thursday. The timing of this front remains crucial.
Two days ago it looked as through the front would pass through in time for a cool Halloween, yesterday the forecast slowed the front leaving us with a hot Halloween and now it looks like we are in the cross hairs of a significant rain event during our candy grab.
Don't take those costumes back to the store just yet since much of the moisture and energy meeting up with this front will be sliding to our north.
This is why they put candy in wrappers!
