The big blast blasts through the RGV
Fri, 22 Nov 2013 21:55:32 GMT —
A few hours early but plowing through the RGV as advertised!
A major cold front is kicking off lots of thunderstorms producing heavy rain, strong winds and frequent lightning across the valley while dropping temperatures 20 degrees in a flash.
The "tempest" should die down in a couple of hours but the cold, the wet and the breezy will remain, in one form or another, for several days.
Daytime highs and nightime lows will be in the forties since thick clouds, widespread showers and persistent northerly winds will keep the day to night temperature fluctuation to a minimum.
