$1 million dollar lottery ticket sold in McAllen

One McAllen man is $1 million dollars richer thanks to a lucky lotto ticket.
Texas Lottery Commission officials confirmed a scratch off ticket worth $1 million dollars was sold at a store in McAllen.
The Town & Country store off North 10th Street and Tamarack Avenue sold the lucky Instant Millions scratch-off ticket.
McAllen resident Jose Silva, Jr. claimed the first of five top prizes.
The store is now eligible to receive a $10,000 retailer bonus.
Introduced back on May 27th, the Instant Millions game features more than $62 million in total prizes.
Overall odds of winning any prize are one in 2.91, including break-even prizes.
