$100 robbery lands man with $100,000 bond

A man remains behind bars after he allegedly robbed $100 dollars from a Family Dollar store in the Southmost area of Brownsville.
Brownsville police arrested 32-year-old Carlos Santana on an aggravated robbery charge early Friday afternoon.
Santana is accused of robbing a Family Dollar store on the 5600 block of Southmost Road where he fired a shot into the ceiling.
The Brownsville man took $100 dollars in cash, fled the scene in yellow Ford Mustang but was caught a few blocks away.
Investigators allegedly found the clothing used in the robbery, the stolen money and a handgun at his Kevin Drive home.
Santana appeared before a Brownsville Municipal Court judge where he was issued a $100,000 bond.
