A man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl faced a judge on Tuesday morning where he was issued a $100,000 dollar bond.
Primera police arrested 26-year-old Michael Anthony Torres on a sexual assault of a child charge.
Torres is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl, who came forward with the allegations back on June 7th.
Authorities revealed at the arraignment for Torres that he hasunpaid child support for two children ranging in ages from 5 to 6 years old.
Investigators told Action 4 News that Torres may be facing other criminal charges in Kansas and Dallas.
Torres appeared before Cameron County Justice of the Peace Sallie Gonzales on Tuesday morning where he was issued a $100,000 dollar bond.
