A Harlingen mother and father have been charged with injury to a child after their 4-month-old suffered head trauma.
Police responded to Valley Baptist Medical Center on May 25 in reference to the injured baby.
The child TMs parents Veronica Quintero and Sean Banuelos gave conflicting stories to officers as to how the baby hurt its head.
Both parents stories were inconsistent with one another and investigators believed the 20-year-old and the 22-year-old knowingly caused the head trauma.
A warrant was issued for their arrest.
On Monday, the parents were taken into custody near the 7900 block of South Expressway 77 in Brownsville.
Quintero TMs bond was set at $500,000 and Banuelos was set at $600,000.
