47 immigrants rescued from Reynosa stash house

Authorities have rescued 47 immigrants from a stash house south of the border in Reynosa.

Mexico's Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported it all happened the Colonia Las Arboledas of Reynosa on Monday.

SEDENA officials reported that soldiers searched a home in the neighborhood and found the immigrants inside.

Authorities reported that 44 of the kidnapped immigrants were from Guatemala while three from Mexico.

No arrests were reported in the case.

In another indient, a traffic stop led to $3.8 million dollars of cocaine.

Soldiers allegedly saw two suspicious cars, stopped the drivers and found four suitcases with 225 during a search.
