A Harlingen man is facing criminal charges after being identified as the suspect in the robbery of an 8-liner arcade through his neck tattoo and shaved eyebrow.
Cameron County Sheriff TMs Department deputies arrested 25-year-old Francisco Xavier Meza on an aggravated robbery charge on Thursday.
Court records show that Meza is the suspect in the December 16th armed robbery of an 8-liner arcade at 17877 Graham Road.
Employees reported the crime and told deputies that the suspect had distinctive star tattoo on his neck and a shaved eyebrow.
A deputy investigating the case saw Meza paying a traffic ticket at the office of Cameron County Justice of the Peace Sallie Gonzales.
Meza allegedly tilted his head to try to hide his tattoos from the deputy.
The Harlingen man left the courtroom but deputies showed Meza's picture to witnesses who identified him as the suspect in the robbery.
Meza appeared before Cameron County Magistrate Judge Aldredo Padillo on Friday where he was issued a $25,000 dollar bond.
