      Affidavit: Drunken teen leads deputy constables on a chase

      A teen is facing criminal charges after leading deputy constables on a chase while under the influence.

      Cameron County Pct. 4 deputy constables arrested 17-year-old Kage Taylor on evading arrest and DWI by a minor charges early Sunday morning.

      The incident happened just outside Los Frenos 2:45 a.m. Sunday.

      Court records show that Taylor was driving a gray 2006 Dodge Charger but didn TMt make a stop at the stop sign at the intersection of FM 510 and FM 1847.

      The documents show that the 17-year-old continued to drive east on FM 510 where he made an unsafe U-turn and didn TMt signal to turn.

      According to an affidavit obtained by Action 4 News, a deputy constable signaled Taylor for a routine stop, but he continued the chase down FM 510.

      The vehicle almost fell into a ditch next to a driveway of a home on FM 1847 where deputy constable allegedly smelled alcohol on the teen's breath.
