Alcohol believed to be factor in three-car wreck in Harlingen

      Three-car accident in Harlingen

      Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in three-car wreck in Harlingen where a pregnant woman was among the victims.

      It all happened at the intersection of Stuart Place and Wilson Roads around 6 p.m. Friday.

      Harlingen police are investigating the accident.

      Investigators believe a man was under the influence of alcohol when he caused a head-on collision.

      A total of three cars were involved in the accident where a woman who was 8 months pregnant was inside one of the cars.

      The woman did not appear to be injured but will be evaluated.

      Police said the man was rushed to a local hospital.
