All-American City parade benefits Wounded Warrior Project

A Salute to Veterans drew in hundreds of people to the All-American City.

Hundreds of people attended the parade dedicated to the Veterans in Pharr on Polk Road and Cage Boulevard.

A firework show will commence at 7:00 p.m. at Liberty Middle School on the 1200 block of Fir Street.

The parade featured Korean War Veteran Antonio Garcia who was the Gran Marshal.

All the proceeds are benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project was founded 2003 and according to the website the Wounded Warrior Project mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound|
