A pick-up truck lost control and crashed into a house injuring a teenager who was in the house.
The crash happened at around 11 p.m. Saturday night on Matz St. near 7th St. in Harlingen.
The teenager was in the room the truck crashed into.
The impact caused a television to fall on top of the teenager TMs hand.
Police have identified the driver as 22-year-old Anthony Escobar.
Both Escobar and the teenager were transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen and were treated for minor injuries.
Before crashing into the house Escobar hit another car on the same street.
Police at the scene told Action 4 News the driver showed signs of intoxication and he is expected to be charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
