Mon, 03 Mar 2014 14:53:02 GMT — An air mass of Arctic origin has dropped temperatures around 50 degrees from one day to the next in the Rio Grande Valley.Temperatures today are expected to hang in the upper 30's, with breezy northerly winds in the mix.As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory until 4 pm as "feels like" temperatures approach the lower 30's.Waves of light to moderate showers can also be anticipated throughout the region today in combination with overcast skies.Chances for showers will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday.Sunshine is not expected back in the forecast until late this week when conditions improve to the 70's.
