The alleged owner of a 8-liner arcade is facing multiple criminal charges following a raid at a former meat market in Brownsville.
Cameron County District Attorney TMs Office investigators arrested 42-year-old Eduardo Valdez on multiple charges on Thursday night.
The Brownsville man is accused of owning Lalo TMs Place Arcade at the corner of Boca Chica Boulevard and FM 511 just east of Brownsville.
Court records released on Friday show that undercover investigators got cash payouts at the 8-liner arcade.
The records show the arcade was built inside the former County Corner Meat Market.
Authorities raided the arcade on Thursday and charged Valdez with keeping a gambling place, gambling promotion, possession of a gambling device and engaging in organized criminal activities.
Valdez appeared before Cameron County Magistrate Judge Luis Saenz on Friday morning where he was issued $22,500 in bonds.
The court records showed that other employees at the arcade may soon be facing criminal charges as well.
