Authorities confiscated 23 gambling devices from a gas station bar in San Benito.
San Benito police received a complaint from a community member regarding the gambling establishment.
Cameron County Emergency Management Coordinator Humberto Barrera said the raid happened Tuesday afternoon.
The bar is located on North Travis Road.
The owner of the establishment had been given a warning for violating city ordinance.
He was told to remove the 8-liner machines, however he did not comply so SBPD contacted the DA's office.
The San Benito Police Department and the District Attorney's Office spearheaded the investigation.
This is all apart of Operation Bishop, a culmination of an 18-month criminal investigation of illegal gambling in Cameron County.
