A Kingsville man is expected to be sentenced at the end of the month after pleading guilty to owning a lifetime TMs collection of child pornography.

Brownsville police originally arrested Eugenio Sanchez Saenz after an anonymous tip led them to his Central Boulevard apartment back in October 2009.

Investigators reported finding a "lifetime's collection" of pornographic images of children between 7 and 11 years old.

Saenz's case was in the Cameron County courts system but was dismissed when U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents took over in July 2012.

Federal court records reveal some of what has inside his collection.

According to an affidavit, Saenz had some 336 DVDs and seven SD cards filled with child pornography.

The DVDs were all label with sexually suggestive titles too vulgar to repeat but investigators reported finding even more bizarre items.

Court records show Saenz took pictures of unsuspecting young girls at area beaches, swimming pools and other locations.

HSI agents searched Saenz's home in Kingsville and his car where they found binoculars in the front seat, voyeuristic photos in the glove box and a cheerleading outfit in the trunk.

It's not clear how or where Saenz obtained the outfit but he pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography charge in August 2012.

The 66-year-old is expected to be sentenced on July 29th where he faces up to 10 years in prison.

Public records show that Saenz had previously lived at an apartment of South Brahma Boulevard in Kingsville and had no known previous criminal history.
