Bishops gather for conference to discuss immigration issues

Bishops from both sides of the border gathered in the valley for a two day conference ending Sunday. The conference is held twice a year and focuses on immigration. Among the attendees are four bishops from Mexico and four from Texas. Their goal is not only to discuss the problems of immigration, but also highlight the need for a solution. The bishops say they encourage the presidential candidates to address the problem of immigration as they also urge Mexican lawmakers to do their part.
