Authorities have evacuated Rio Hondo High School following reports of a bomb threat.
Details were not immediately available but the incident happened just after 2 p.m. Thursday.
Rio Hondo ISD Superintendent Anneliese McMinn could not immediately be reached for comment.
But a recorded message from the school district stated that students were evacuated as a precautionary measure and that classes would resume Friday morning.
Parents told Action 4 News that their children were being bused but drop off locations were not immediately available.
