Border Patrol: 5 stash houses with 230 immigrants in 12 hours time

Border Patrol agents spent Monday criss-crossing the Rio Grande Valley raiding five stash houses with 230 immigrants in just 12 hours time.
The largest stash house was found in Mission where Border Patrol agents received information from the Hidalgo County Sheriff TMs Office about a potential human smuggling operation.
Border Patrol agents arrested two suspected human smugglers and 78 illegal immigrants at the home.
Just a short time later, officers with the San Juan Police Department found a group of 49 illegal immigrants at a house on the 1200 block of Sioux Road.
Border Patrol agents arrested three suspect smugglers and took the immigrants in custody.
Officers with the McAllen Police Department found 21 illegal immigrants being stashed at a La Quinta Inn on South 10th Street in McAllen.
Border Patrol agents were called to the hotel and detained the immigrants.
Both Border Patrol agents and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents raided a home in Donna where two suspected human smugglers and 50 illegal immigrants were arrested.
Across the Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville, authorities arrested one suspected smuggler and 32 illegal immigrants at a home off Calle Eduardo in the Cameron Park area.
