"Record checks revealed the Defendant was formally Deported/Excluded from the United States on April 28, 20017 (sic) through Alexandria, Louisiana," according to the federal criminal complaint against him.
Agents also discovered Barahona had a conviction for forcible sodomy, according to the criminal compliant. The Virginia State Police sex offender registry doesn't list any details about the crime.
"On December 11, 2006 the defendant was convicted of Forcible Sodomy and sentenced to life imprisonment imposed, supervised probation," according to the federal criminal complaint.
Barahona is now charged with illegal re-entry.
