Boutique closed after selling fake Gucci, Louis Vuitton

Gris Boutique is now closed after an undercover operation exposed that the store was selling counterfeit items.

Palmhurst police arrested store manager, Andrea Celeste Guerrero-Resendez, last night, after they were caught selling the counterfeit products in plain sight.

The boutique, located on 4313 N. Conway in Mission, sold fake Gucci, Rolex, Michael Kors, and Louis Vuitton products.

Police said the store has been open and operating for a few months, and sold high end items that allowed the boutique to make money off of the brand TMs names.

The name brand products would normally make $1,500 to $2,000, but Gris Boutique sold them for $35 to $80.

A total of 350 counterfeit items were found in the business, which is $20,000 worth of merchandise.

Guerrero-Resendez will be charged today with knowingly and intentionally selling and possessing counterfeit items, a state jail felony.

She is currently behind bars in the Hidalgo County Jail.

A bond of $10,000 was set for the store manager.

Video surveillance from the store has been taken as evidence.

Police are currently looking for the store owner of Gris Boutique.
