Authorities are investigating how a 9-year-old boy ended up alone in the cold weather in Mission.
It all happened at a water tower off Business 83 and Bentsen Palm Drive early Wednesday morning.
Mission police said a city worker found the boy sleeping and wrapped up in blankets.
Police, Border Patrol agents and paramedics were all called out to the scene.
Border Patrol agents believe the boy was traveling with a group of illegal immigrants, fell asleep and got left behind.
Action 4 News is on the scene and will provide more information as it becomes available.
