An elderly, wheelchair-bound man is behind bars after being arrested in Brownsville cocaine and marijuana case.
Brownsville police arrested 69-year-old Felipe Rocio and 41-year-old Salvador Gomez on drug charges Wednesday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that officers arrived at 414 Linda Lane to execute a search warrant at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities found 1.26 pounds of marijuana inside the home.
Police said Gomez was allegedly found trying to dispose of a baggie of cocaine.
Rocio allegedly had several baggies of cocaine. Investigators reported finding more than an ounce of cocaine on Rocio and inside the house.
The elderly, wheelchair-bound man appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Wednesday afternoon where he was issued $20,000 dollars in bonds.
Gomez faced a judge on Thursday morning where he received $25,000 dollars in bonds.
