Brownsville teen arrested in fatal DWI wreck

An 18-year-old woman is behind bars after being accused of causing a fatal DWI wreck.

Brownsville police arrested Crissy Guerra on intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault charges on Sunday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Guerra was driving home from a bar when she attempted to pass a car.

Police said she ended up losing control and crashed into a railroad post.

Investigators said 20-year-old passenger Roxana Sas was critically injured.

She was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital where she later died.

Another passenger suffered a broken arm.

Guerra remains in custody under $100,000 dollars in bonds.
