A Brownsville teenager is behind bars after he allegedly used Facebook to arrange a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl.
Brownsville police arrested 17-year-old Adrian Trinidad surrendered early Tuesday morning.
Investigators told Action 4 News that Trinidad is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
It all happened on the 1900 block of Barnard Road back on December 12th.
According to police, Trinidad used Facebook to make arrangements to meet the girl.
The girl's parents told police that they were unaware that their daughter was going to meet Trinidad.
Authorities issued a warrant for Trinidad TMs arrest and he turned himself in around 5:28 a.m. Tuesday.
Trinidad appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Tuesday morning where he was issued a $20,000 dollar bond.
