      City of Brownsville offering a park on wheels

      Now that kids are out for the summer the City of Brownsville is helping them stay busy by playing, exercising and socializing.Thursday, Shannon Guerrero with the City of Brownsville Parks and Recreation stopped by to talk about their Mobile Recreation Unit.The unit is aimed at delivering recreational activities to children that may not have access to programs or facilities for free.It was created in May 2011 to help children get active during the summer months when they are out of school.Below are the tour dates.
