A new G.I. bill will help veterans get a better education.
The new law, which could more than double the amount covered in the current G.I. bill, could open college doors to thousands of veterans who may not have considered college because of the cost.
U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar explained more about the bill.
"This will allow more veterans, especially younger veterans, to go to college. It provides four years of college, not only the first years. They can also use that money to go to two-years, four-years public and private universities."
