A San Benito man is behind bars after he attempted to shoot a co-worker.
The incident happened at a construction site on the 200 block of N. 21st Street Tuesday.
Harlingen police said that Fidencio Garcia pointed a black handgun at the victim TMs stomach.
According to authorities, the 56-year-old tried to pull the trigger and shoot the victim.
The San Benito resident then left for lunch.
Harlingen police arrested Garcia after he returned to the construction site.
Garcia was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a 2md degree felony.
The weapon was taken as evidence.
A bond of $42,000 was set for the San Benito resident.
