A man is behind bars after being accused of sexually abusing a woman with a cucumber and demanding she perform explicit acts.
Cameron County Sheriff TMs investigators arrested Jesus Guadalupe Escobedo on a sexual assault charge.
The woman came forward with the allegations in June, according to court documents obtained by Action 4 News.
She told authorities Escobedo demanded she perform explicit acts, and when she said no, he allegedly threatened to make a child perform them if she would not.
Escobedo then allegedly pinned her to the floor where he sexually assaulted her.
The woman told authorities that she was watching a religious program during one instance of the alleged sexual assault.
According to court documents, she stated that Escobedo sexually assaulted her various times.
As evidence in the alleged crime, a cucumber was measured and medical forensic records were obtained.
Escobedo allegedly admitted to authorities that he was watching pornography before the sexually assault happened.
Action 4 News does not release the identify of sexually abused victims, but court records show the woman knew Esobedo prior to the alleged crime.
His bond was set at $150,000 for the second degree felony.
