Fri, 18 Dec 2009 00:46:22 GMT — Valley residents counting on those tamales for Christimas just have a few more days to place their orders. Delia's Tamales, a now famous Valley tradition, will be taking orders up until December 21, in order to have them ready by Christmas. Owner Delia Lubin told Action 4 News they are expecting to receive more than 10,000 tamale orders, by the dozen! However, she added that they are prepared for the increased workload. "Now we start work like double shift in the kitchen," she said. "We start working and doing business since 3 o'clock in the morning, but everything has been fine." Delia's Tamales have five locations in the Upper Valley, with plans to expand into Cameron County in the future.
