      Donations drive for fertilizer plant explosion

      Action 4 News is joing Texas State Technical College in collecting donations for victims of a fertilizer plant explosion north of Waco.

      Some 13 people have died while 200 were injured and another 60 people were still not accounted for.

      TSTC Harlingen is holding a special donation drive in support of their sister campus in Waco.

      TSTC Waco officials are asking for the following donations:

      Gatorade Fruit juice Snacks Blankets Pillows Toiletries (soap, deodorant, toothbrush/paste, etc.) Clothes Blankets Diapers Formula Bottles Toys Teddy Bears/Stuffed Animals Adult diapers Peroxide Alcohol Gauze Medical supplies Air Mattresses Gift cards to WalMart or HEB

      Tonight, Action 4 News and TSTC Harlingen will collect donations until 6:30 at two locations:

      TSTC Harlingen CampusService Support CenterRio Hondo Road @ Loop 499Harlingen, TX

      Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen1610 W Expressway 83Pharr, TX

      On Saturday, TSTC will continue to collect donations from 8 am to noon.

      On Monday through Wednesday, donations can be made at both at TSTC Harlingen and Pappadeaux's in Pharr from 8 am to 5 pm.
