Authorities are looking for two men who lead Rio Grande City police on a chase and left 21 illegal immigrants inside their SUV.
It all happened off Expressway 83 in Rio Grande City early Tuesday morning.
The driver refused to stop and lead police on a chase through several streets but it all ended off Mirasoles and Washingston Streets.
Both the driver and front passenger bailed out leaving 21 illegal immigrants inside their Chevrolet Suburban.
One woman suffered a broken ankle when the suburban hit a dip in the road and several people were thrown on top of her.
U.S. Border Patrol agents took the immigrants into custody but investigators are still looking for the driver and the passenger.
Records show that the Suburban was last registered to a man who lives off York Meadows Drive in Houston.
