Duo stabs teen dating suspect's ex-girlfriend

A 19-year-old and 20-year-old have been charged for stabbing a teen in Brownsville.

The victim told authorities that the two men attacked him because he was dating one of the suspect TMs ex-girlfriends.

On Sunday, Gabriel Hernandez and Jose Angel Salazar went to the victim TMs apartment on the 2700 block of Paredes Ln Rd.

According to Brownsville police, the two men attacked the teen and fled the scene.

The victim identified Hernandez and Salazar as his attackers.

An arrest warrant was issued for the duo, who were caught on Tuesday.

Hernandez and Salazar were charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Their bonds were set at $50,000.

The 18-year-old was stabbed in his ribcage and cut on his forehead.

His injuries are non-life threatening, and the case is still under investigation.
