Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle wreck that left one person dead on a busy road in Edinburg.
The fatal accident happened off Trenton and Sugar Roads around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Edinburg police told Action 4 News that said 68-year-old Jackie Randall Jobe was heading east on Trenton Road in yellow car.
But police said Jobe's car veered into oncoming traffic just before arriving to Sugar Road.
Jobe reportedly kept driving and was then clipped by a black SUV.
Police said Jobe continued driving and ended up hitting a white Nissan truck head-on.
Edinburg police confirm that Jobe died at the scene while the driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Investigators are trying to figure out if alcohol or road conditions could have played a factor.
