Monday authorities were working the scene of a school bus crash on B & Grant street in Harlingen.
Harlingen Police tweeted early Monday that a driver of Sebring was being extracted.
Action 4 has learned an elderly man was behind the wheel of the Sebring along with his wife. They apparently disregarded a stop sign causing the bus to collide with the vehicle and as a result were both transported to the Valley Baptist Medical Center with unknown injuries.
According to police the school bus had eight special needs students, one of whom needed a monitor, from Harlingen High School South, Bowie Elementary and Coakley Elementary.
Officers said two children complained of pain to their sides, due to the impact, but were checked by EMS and were said to be fine.
