An Edcouch Housing Authority board member and two others have been charged for dealing drugs out of their home.
Edcouch police told Action 4 News that officers arrested Mary Garza, Israel Cerna and Aleli Rojas on Monday.
Investigators said police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside their home on the 600 block of Crenshaw Avenue.
Garza was identified as a board member of the Edcouch Housing Authority.
All three appeared before a judge on Tuesday morning where they were each given $10,000 dollar bonds.
Edcouch Mayor Robert Schmalzried told Action 4 News that arrest has nothing to do with he city.
Schmalzried he appointed Garza based on the recommendation of of the Edcouch Housing Authority.
The executive director resigned from his post last year.
The housing authority's assistant director deferred questions about Garza to the agency's attorney, who did not return a call for comment.
