Edinburg man beaten with sledgehammer, baseball bats

Authorities are investigating a home invasion where an Edinburg man was beaten with a sledgehammer and baseball bats.

It all happened at an apartment complex off Zelma Street around 9 p.m. Monday night.

Investigators told Action 4 News that four to six males stormed the apartment and attacked the 30-year-old renter.

Wearing bandanas covering their faces, the six allegedly beat the victim with a sledgehammer and baseball bats.
