Former President George Herbert Walker Bush has been hospitalized for bronchitis in Houston.
The Houston Chronicle reported on its website that Bush has been at Methodist Hospital for the past seven days.
According to the Chronicle, the 88-year-old former president has bronchitis but it's not life-threatening.
The Houston-based newspaper reported that the elder Bush has been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks.
Bush was most recently admitted the day after Thanksgiving due to a lingering cough, the Chronicle reported.
According to the Chronicle, his son, former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited him on Sunday.
Bush, who served as the 41st President of the United States, is expected to be released this weekend.
