Employee locked up for pocketing cash at Wells Fargo

A San Benito woman is behind bars after she allegedly stole money while on the clock at Wells Fargo.

The felony happened during early October, and Micaela Bianca Reyna turned herself in to the Harlingen Police Department on Monday.

Loss Prevention at the bank contacted authorities after $2,200 went missing from the Wells Fargo located on the 1800 block of South Sunshine Strip in Harlingen.

The Loss Prevention Investigators at the bank identified Reyna as the employee who stole the cash.

Reyna turned herself in and was charged with theft, a state jail felony.

She was booked at the Harlingen city jail around 10:00 on Monday, where her bond was set at $10,000 for the crime.
