Family of Jehovah's Witnesses stabbed to death in Mexico

      It's a brutal crime that has sent shockwaves along the U.S./Mexico border.

      The Chihuahua Attorney General's Office has confirmed that a eight members of a Jehovah's Witness family was found murdered in Ciudad Juarez.

      The brutal crime happened early Sunday morning.

      The El Diario de Juarez reported that the three children ages 4 to 7 years old were among the eight victims who were found bound and stabbed to death.

      The Ciudad Juarez newspaper reported that a the killers spared the family's 3-month-old baby.

      El Diario de Juarez reported that the family was supposed to attend a religious service but never made.

      A motive in the brutal slayings is not clear but the murders received universal condemnation from residents in the drug war-weary border city.

      Numerous comments left on the newspaper's website condemned the attacks.

      Investigators are offering a $300,000 peso reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
