Mayra Oyervides TM was cremated and honored during a service on Thursday in Harlingen.
The 21-year-old was gunned down Monday outside an apartment off Wright Avenue and G Street.
Her fianc did not want to show his face on camera given the two alleged gunman are still on the loose. "I TMm not scared for me, Mayra TMs fianc said. But I'm scared for my family."
Action 4 also spoke to the man police said was the intended target, Leonel Lee Garcia off camera.
Police confirm Garcia is the son of 33-year-old Ruby Meza Garcia, the woman arrested in connection to the drive-by shooting that happened Valentine's Day on Adrain Street.
According to court documents, Meza Garcia was a maid at the home and was supposed to leave the door unlocked for two alleged Texas Syndicate Gang Members. They were after a safe inside the home, filled with cash.
Action 4 News asked Garcia if he believes he was possibly a target as a result of the case involving his mother, but he said it's farfetched.
He said had he been the target the alleged shooters would've ran after him inside the apartment, not shoot Mayra multiple times and flee.
Instead Garcia and Mayra's fianc think it may have been more personal and that Mayra was the intended target.
"It could've been anything, Mayra TMs fianc said. Jealousy. I think people were probably jealous of how happy we were. What we had was special."
And despite autopsy results stating the 21-year-old was not pregnant, her fianc said Mayra and he were anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby girl Aburey Victoria.
When ask how did he know she was pregnant, Mayra TMs fianc said, Her stomach would move, I put my ear right next to her stomach and I hear a little bag of water like a little fish that moves around, that's what I felt."
Mayra's fianc said she was a devoted and caring woman, who always took care of him and his nephews.
Half of her remains will go with her parents and the rest will stay with her fianc.
