Fire claims Bluetown teen's life

All that's left of a home on 33334 Longoria Street is ashes and debris and a family who TMs distraught after losing a son.

Early Monday morning fire crews respond to call of a house fire in Bluetown.

Flames quickly filled the home and awakened nearby neighbors who describe the noise fireworks-like.

Inside the home the family of 5, including two children, one of whom didn TMt make it out.

Authorities said a 13 year old boy ran back inside the home for unknown reasons and fell victims to the flames.

The boy TMs body was later found under a bed.

Sherriff deputies tell Action 4 News they haven TMt been able to fully question the family saying when they spoke to the father he was visibly upset and not making much sense.

Preliminary reports show the fire may have been ignited by an air conditioning window unit.

Neighbors here are in a state of disbelief.

We spoke to Sergio Rivera Jr. a friend of the diseased 13 year old boy who said he TMs lost a great friend.

We were close and we would be everyday, riding the bikes here, said Rivera.
