Five men behind bars, linked to produce company robbery

Five men are behind bars after an investigation linked them to the robbery of a produce company this past May.

San Juan police charged three other suspects with aggravated robbery on Thursday.

But investigators also searched a home at 417 Darlene Street in Pharr Thursday evening.

Police told Action 4 News that the 1998 white Ford Expedition used in the Palmer Produce robbery was found at the home.

According to San Juan police, authorities also found almost a pound of marijuana, sawed-off shotgun and a revolver without a serial number.

Officers detained a 21-year-old man and 22-year-old man at the home.

The two will be arraigned for the marijuana and weapons at 2 p.m. Friday.

All five men will be arraigned for the produce company robbery at 3 p.m. Friday.
