A San Benito McDonald TMs goes down as the last restaurant in 2010 to be featured on Food 4 Thought for being shutdown.
The fast food eatery on 821 South Sam Houston Boulevard had a major rodent problem, according to a health inspection report.
Photos taken by a chief health inspector showed a dead mouse on a trap.
It was also noted on the McDonald TMs report that a very bad smell of dead mice lingered in the building.
The Food Patrol exposed how the restaurant was first warned to clean up the problem on a December 9th inspection.
The health department ordered McDonald TMs closed on Monday afternoon after it was discovered by an inspector that it had gotten worse.
McDonald TMs was allowed to reopen the following morning.
