A former security guard is behind bars after being accused of robbing an 8-liner casino where he used to work in La Feria.
The Cameron County Pct. 7 Constable TMs Office reports that 28-year-old Rafael Guerrero has been charged with two aggravated robbery charges.
Investigators told Guerrero busted down the door and used a gun to rob the House of Luxury off Business 83 back on June 29th.
Guerrero, a former security guard at the 8-liner video arcade, allegedly took about $2,000 dollars in cash.
The McAllen native allegedly told workers, What are you going to do? Call the cops?
Employees and customers did not want to comment on camera but the constable TMs office released photo of Guerrero on Monday in hopes of catching him.
Authorities reported he was last seen in a gold 1999 Chrysler Sebring and may be in the company of his girlfriend and Harlingen resident Stephanie Renza.
The Cameron County Pct. 7 Constable's Office reported that Guerrero was found at a home off Cora Street in Harlingen late Monday afternoon. Both Guerrero and Renza were at the home.
Investigators are checking to see if Guerrero may be connected to a theft that took place at Flaming's 777 arcade off Bass Boulevard in Harlingen on Sunday morning.
Guerrero is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday morning.
Court records show that Guerrero has prior convictions for furnishing alcohol to a minor and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information charges.
