Four people accused of helping two wanted murder suspects hide in a hotel then escape to Mexico were arraigned in the Hidalgo County Jail.
Edward Moralez Jr., 24 years-old his sister Jessica Elaine Moralez, 20 years-old, Kittzzia Moralez, 21 years-old and Jennifer Jannett Vasquez, 19 years-old were arrested.
They are accused of hindering the arrest of Brandon Gonzales, Domingo Gonzalez and Anthony Moralez who are accused of taking part in a deadly home invasion were large amounts of marijuana were stolen from a property and neighbor Jose Manuel Verraza was murdered.
Verraza was driving onto his property in Weslaco when the fleeing suspects opened fire on him, fatally wounding him.
Sherriff Lupe Trevino says 3 of the arrested are related to one of the suspects.
Vasquez is the girlfriend of one of the murder suspects.
According to investigators, the four suspects helped harbor the murder suspects at a motel in Edinburg before helping both Domingo Gonzalez and Anthony Moralez cross into Mexico.
Brandon Gonzales was arrested last week for the murder of Verraza.
