Four arrested with stolen guns, synthetic marijuana in Mission

Four men are behind bars in connection to 25 guns that were stolen in a mission burglary Monday morning.Mission police reported that detectives linked the men to the early Monday morning burglary of Southwest Hay & Feed off West 2 Mile Line.A group of burglars stole 25 weapons from a section of the store used for gun sales.Investigators said police recovered nine of the hand guns and the m-4 assault rifle.Eight of the hand guns were recovered from a 2001 Dodge minivan found Tuesday morning in Donna. A small about of marijuana and synthetic marijuana were also found in the vehicle."We do know they have been distributed. And the people we have in custody either have possession of a firearm or had information on one of them, Mission Police Chief Martin Garza said.Two of the men in police custody are believed to have participated in the burglary.Police told Action 4 News that more arrests are possible as the investigation continues to find the rest of the stolen weapons.
